Ingredientes

Para la Masa:

  • 1 1/4 tazas de harina de todo uso
  • 1/2 cucharadita de sal
  • 1/2 taza (1 barra) de mantequilla fría, cortada en cubos pequeños
  • 3-4 cucharadas de agua fría

Es importante que todos los ingredientes estén fríos, garantizando así una masa más quebradiza. Opta por mantequilla fría para obtener el mejor resultado en tus tartaletas.

Procedimiento

  1. Comienza mezclando la harina y la sal en un tazón grande.
  2. Integra la mantequilla fría, cortada en cubos pequeños, a la mezcla de harina y sal. Puedes utilizar un tenedor o un cortador de masa hasta obtener una textura de migas gruesas.
  3. Agrega 3 cucharadas de agua fría y revuelve con un tenedor hasta que la masa comience a unirse. En caso de que parezca muy seca, añade una cucharada adicional de agua, una a la vez, hasta formar una bola de masa.
  4. Transfiere la masa a una superficie enharinada, forma una bola y aplánala en un disco. Envuelve la masa en film transparente y refrigérala durante al menos 30 minutos.
  5. Precalienta el horno según la temperatura indicada en tu receta específica para tartaletas.
  6. Luego de reposar en el refrigerador, estira la masa en un círculo lo suficientemente grande para cubrir tu molde para tartaletas, asegurándote de enharinar ligeramente la superficie de trabajo y el rodillo.
  7. Coloca la masa en el molde y ajústala al fondo y los lados. Recorta cualquier exceso de masa.
  8. Pincha la base de la masa con un tenedor en varios lugares para evitar la formación de vapor durante el horneado.
  9. Ahora deberás hornear la masa durante unos 10-15 minutos a una temperatura de 180-200 grados Celsius.
