Crockpot Baked Beans with Bacon and Brown Sugar

Ingredients 

  • 3 (15-oz) cans white or brown beans drained (I used 2 cans Navy beans and 1 can Pinto beans)
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 ½ cups ketchup or more to taste
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar or more to taste
  • 6 slices bacon chopped

Instructions 

  • Combine all ingredients in a small slow cooker (mine is 2.5 quart).
  • Cook on LOW setting for 6-8 hours, until thickened and bubbly.
  • Check for seasoning and adjust ketchup and brown sugar to taste before serving.
